Lied's main functions:
Lied works substantially, as a collection of musical definitions in Lilypond syntax. Like in major musical writing software, Lied groups definitions by subject, using menus.
The arguments treated by Lied's menus are:
- Templates - includes various "full score" templates (single instrument, Piano, Quartet, etc.)
- Top and braces - includes the main Lilypond blocks (\book, \paper, etc.) and its items
- Music - includes all main musical definitions (clefs, tonal keys, chords, note heads, spacing, etc.). See documentation (Related pages -> Menu description) for a detailed list of the Lied's menu items.
